Whether you are working for the first time in a community/geographical area or you are looking to renew an intervention, our team can help you collect and analyse primary and secondary information to determine the needs, vulnerabilities, priorities, and capacities of community members, individuals, and local stakeholders, as well as information on potential gaps and coordination with relevant stakeholders, in order to prevent the duplication of efforts.
Through participatory data collection, a rigorous triangulation process, and active consultation with your team and/or partners, we produce a road map for action that outlines key findings and recommendations.
Humanitarian needs assessment in Zinder Niger: Health resilience and disaster risk management and livelihoods
Client: Danish Red Cross
In 2018, the Danish Red Cross (DRC) hired our team to collect and analyse primary and secondary information to determine the needs, vulnerabilities, priorities, and capacities of community groups residing in the Damagaram Takaya area, and to uncover potential gaps and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. The information gathered has been used to inform the design of new projects in the region.
