Real-time evaluation
Real-time evaluation offers feedback during the implementation of the humanitarian actions, and it can provide timely recommendations, identifying things that may have been ignored due to the swift response to the emergency. This type of evaluation also ensures that the voice of staff and volunteers at all levels is heard during the project’s implementation (not only after concluding the intervention).

Real-time evaluation process of the humanitarian assistance initiatives in response to the COVID-19 health emergency in Panama, Honduras, and El Salvador
Client: Norwegian Refugee Council
Year: 2020-2021
In its offices in Latin America, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has developed programmes for education, legal assistance, access to housing and social protection, and emergency response. In 2020, the NRC has developed different actions to meet new needs and reduce the impact of COVID-19 on immigrants, internally displaced populations, and host communities in South and Central America. At the end of 2020, the NRC hired our team to carry out the evaluation of the processes that have been developed during the context framed by COVID-19. At the end of this process, we will deliver a final report highlighting the evaluation criteria and offer a plan for improvement and adaptation of operations in real-time.
